We just got back from a family holiday in Florida and it was wonderful. We went to Flagler Beach which is between St.Augustine and Daytona. A 90 minute drive from Orlando airport. It is located on the East coast and is beside a National Park.

Sometimes, hanging out on an empty beach is more blissful. No crowded areas, just the intimacy between you, your family and the beach. That empty beach photo above is a great example - a very attractive setting for personal reflection or for just plain admiration of the vast waters. And, as you've said, it concludes to going home in a nice, splendid condo.
